Totally Trollwood Presents “A New Home Companion”

Totally Trollwood will present "A New Home Companion" this Thursday, July 30th at 2:30 pm at Trollwood's IMAGINE Theatre. The show will also be presented as a pre-show performance to "The Wiz" on July 31st and August 1st at 7:45 pm each night.

"A New Home Companion" is the culmination of three weeks of collaboration by junior high aged students and professional artists. The performance, which will be presented in an old time radio show style, will include song and dance, a radio mystery segment and spoken word poetry all focusing on the unifying theme of home and community.

The production is inspired by regional favorite Garrison Keilor's "A Prairie Home Companion" and also features musical arrangements by local musicians from The Johnson Family Band.

Free and open to the public on Thursday afternoon.
